Ashley is a natural teacher. She not only has absolute command of the language but also has the ability to make a point in many different ways to reach the student. She is very patient and willing to try different methods to help a student reach his/her goal. Importantly as well, she is also very nice. I look forward to working with her in the future. Ashley is very helpful with useful/practical aspects of learning Spanish. Her extensive experience with travel and immersion in other cultures has served her, and thus her students very well. Also being a non-native speaker gives her great insight and anticipation to the challenges and struggles the student may experience. These many attributes, combined with an easy-going disposition and good sense of humor make her an excellent choice of tutor for the aspiring Spanish speaker of any level. I can now see for myself significant progress in my Spanish, after these 3 months or so with Ashley. It is indeed hard work, but the results are worth it. I would not be anywhere near this far without the help of Ashley. Having worked with her has inspired me and actually raised my goal to fluency, at least somewhere near her ability. It is quite a long way off, but now I can see it within my grasp, thanks to her. She is at a very busy and exciting time in her life and still finds time to help her students. Her interest and dedication is very much appreciated.
